Part-69 Description: In Apostle Paul’s Letter to the Romans alone, you will find three different kinds of laws that he discussed for us to understand, he also mentioned which one was stopped and which one remains to be followed. And in Eph. 2:8-9; 8: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (We really have nothing to boast and ONLY the grace of God saved us—our own works cannot save us. Did it say that we do not need to obey the Ten Commandments of God? NO SIR! Ec:12:13: Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. And in Eph:2:10: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. We are created in Christ Jesus to do good works ordained by God—to obey His Ten Commandments. Our own works are totally different to the good works that God had told us to do—complete reversal of it. When we preached Eph. 2:8-9, we shall include verse 10 also to see the truth that we need to follow. Romans 2:6-11, 13; 6 God “will give to each person according to what he has done.” 7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. 8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. 9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; 10 but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 11 For God does not show favoritism. 13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. (WE NEED TO OBEY THE LAW, for without holiness, we will never enter the kingdom of God.) There are three different Laws that Paul was discussing in the letter to the Romans: first, The Ten Commandments, second, the Law of Circumcision, and third, the Law of Sin and Death. The first one was kept and obeyed; the second and third was nailed and was stopped on the cross. By circumcision of the heart and living a Spirit led life, we can easily obey the Ten Commandments.
